What I Wore In Malta

Recently, I was lucky enough to visit the beautiful island of Malta. With its tasty food, friendly locals and breathtaking views, I instantly fell in love and was excited to see what the next few days entailed. It was my first holiday since covid, so was looking forward to wearing some new items I had recently purchased as well as some staples pieces I already owned.

I visited in April, so the weather was lovely and sunny during the day but then a little chilly towards the evening and night time. I knew I wanted to be casual and comfortable during the day for lots of walking and sightseeing and more dressed up towards the evening for dinner and dancing.

Below I’ve shared what I wore during my time in Malta. Hopefully my outfits will give you some inspiration for your next trip away! DAY OUTFITS

On my first day I wanted to take a walk around the local town which was close to my hotel. I didn’t expect the weather to be so hot that day, so I had initially layered up but by the end I had to remove some and just wore the t shirt along with the denim skirt.

On the second day I knew I would have been doing a lot of walking as well as visiting the cathedral in the town of Valetta, so wanted to wear something modest and comfortable. I’ve had this blue floral dress for years now and its so light and easy to wear day to day.

EVENING OUTFITS

I loved all the food Malta had to offer and booked a table at a seafood restaurant that wasn’t too far from my hotel. As the evening was a little cooler, I opted for a long sleeve satin dress with black tights.

On another night I partied to the early hours at a club with fantastic views of St Julien. Again I opted for a comfy look but still chic at the same time. The leggings were ribbed but worn with the striped blouse and block heel made it feel a bit more dressed up.

On one of my last evenings, I chose to wear a casual look for dinner but smartened the look with a black blazer. Owning a simple blazer can do wonders for your wardrobe as it can make any outfit more appealing.

I hope you have found some of these outfits useful. Let me know in the comments which one is your favourite.
